Crieff - The Street by Street Project - Oct 2006 : I've photographed every street, road, footpath and vennel in Crieff with a view from all junctions and bends, looking in each direction. These are not taken for artistic reasons, merely to record the streets of the town. It has to be said I chose a bad week as there was heavy cloud and rain and the resulting light was less than favourable. I shot this series with a Nikon D200 and an 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VRII. Not the best lens but the image stabilisation proved useful in the low light available. The vast majority of the shots were taken at the wide end. The only post production work has been adjusting light levels, cropping and correction of lens distortion. I intended to pass the copyright for these photos to Perth & Kinross County Council but as they wanted me to do all the work and refused even to collect the data I've decided to retain the work as mine own.
